Our story

Good ramen shouldn't have a curfew

Menya Midnight started with a stubborn idea: the best bowl of the day shouldn't be limited to daylight hours. While the rest of the neighborhood closes up, we fire the pots at 5PM and keep them rolling till midnight.

The shop is deliberately small — a counter, a noren curtain, steam on the windows. No reservations, no apps, no theater. Just a bowl built the slow way and served the fast way, at the hour when you want it most: pork bones simmering for eighteen hours, noodles pulled to order, chashu sliced through the night.

Come hungry, leave past midnight. That's the whole business plan.

How to order

Three steps to a bowl

No apps, no reservations, no complications.

01

Walk in or call ahead

Just show up — or call (206) 555-0142 and your bowl will hit the counter when you walk in.

02

Grab a counter seat

First come, first served. Everything happens at the counter — watch the noodles get pulled and the chashu get torched.

03

Slurp loud

That's the whole point. Finish with kaedama — extra noodles in your leftover broth — if you're still hungry.

FAQ

Asked at midnight

The questions we actually hear at the counter.

Are you really open till midnight?

Yes — Tuesday to Sunday, 5PM to 12AM, kitchen open the whole time. Closed Mondays.

Do I need a reservation?

No. Counter seating, first come first served. Call ahead if you're in a hurry and we'll time your bowl.

Anything vegetarian?

We keep a vegetable broth on the quiet — ask at the counter and we'll build you a bowl around it.

Takeout?

Call (206) 555-0142, give us 15 minutes. Noodles travel best when you eat them here, but we'll pack them right.

Cards or cash?

Both. Cards, cash, whatever's in your pocket after a long night.
